How the wealthiest Americans make money off the poor - Tea Party Basics and the truth behind the original Tea Party

The original Tea Party arose from an outrage against an inappropriate tax favor for the politically connected friends of King George, not a protest against being over-taxed.

The corrupt Government practices are what the tea party movement is against, all of them, not just taxes, bail outs, and favors, but every immoral act on behalf of our representatives who are in office to serve us, and end up serving themselves as if they arrived starving at an all you can eat buffet, made up of the fruits of our labor.

These videos will help you understand more about the problems of our time. Think of what you can do to correct these problems in our wonderful Country. Voting in citizens with strong morals and backing local people who are taking a stand is vital. It is very important to get involved in local government in whaever capacity you are able. There is so much more to learn, but I am getting there along with you.

In his interview below, David Cay (Who I have not researched at all, but I felt his research and points were impressive, so I am including them.) notes it is immoral to get rich off the poor, and the Bible says if a ruler does this, their country will suffer.

I am including an excerpt from:

Which goes to great lengths to explain stealing and the ways we are doing it. To heal our land, we must repent of our stealing, and to do this, we have to understand that we are stealing and that it is a sin. Start with you, read on the different ways you have stolen, are stealing etc., and repent, pray and ask God how he will lead you out of your sin and how you can atone for your sin. You will feel so good, with your heart healing and knowing you are growing closer to God. This is a step we all must make so we can heal our land. God Bless you!

The excerpt below:

"Governments, too, can steal. It is possible for the majority of a country’s citizens to impose unfair taxes on the rich, so that by a “legal” governmental function (taxation) the poor rob the rich. In other countries, the rich use their influence and power to oppress and rob the poor, by manipulating and misusing governmental power. Communism appeals to the greed of the masses, encouraging revolution and the formation of a new government which will disenfranchise (take the property away from) the rich, and give it to the poor. Functionally, this is stealing.

Governments can also employ tariffs to steal from people. Tariffs can be levied on foreign goods, so that higher prices must be paid to purchase American goods. This could mean that Americans are “forced” to pay higher prices for inferior goods, or that foreign peoples are deprived of the ability to sell their goods and to make a living. On the other hand, some foreign manufacturers have no qualms about copying (stealing) U. S. designs, manufacturing the products with “slave” or “cheap” labor, and then selling their product below the U. S. market price, thus stealing from American business."

Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist David Cay Johnston joins us to talk about his new book, "Free Lunch: How the Wealthiest Americans Enrich Themselves at Government Expense (And Stick You with the Bill)." Johnston reveals how government subsidies and new regulations have quietly funneled money from the poor and the middle class to the rich and politically connected.

MSLawdotedu — June 23, 2009 — Less than one percent of America (and that includes both individuals and corporations) is getting rich off of the remaining 99%, from outrageous tax breaks to secret deals that enrich politicians to outright lies told to engender the favor of local tax dollars. Dean Lawence R. Velvel interviews David Cay Johnston, former investigative reporter for The New York Times, about his book, Free Lunch: How the Wealthiest Americans Enrich Themselves at Government Expense
